Mr. Goldberg graduated from Hofstra University in 1982 and then attended Adelphi University Graduate School. He trained at Marchitelli King and Associates in 1985 as an appraiser, and then was an associate producer at Gibbons Rushmore and Cowan. In 1989, he accepted a position as Senior Vice President and Partner at D.J. Squire, Advanced Appraisal Associates, and in 1990 worked as a Senior Appraiser at Daley-Hodkin Corporation.

He left Daley - Hodkin in 1992 to form his own company, JJG Real Estate Appraisal Services, and has expanded his clientele to become a national presence. He has appraised multi-million dollar properties nationwide and has provided expert testimony in  numerous cases around the nation.

Mr. Goldberg is affiliated with the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers; Columbia Society of Real Estate Appraisers; Young Mortgage Bankers Association; and has held various positions at the New York Condemnation Conference, including designation as President on 2003/2004. He is a Senior Member of the Columbia Society with the CSA-G designation for General or Commercial appraisals and as an Associate of the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Goldberg is licensed to practice in New York.

Mr. Goldberg founded JJG Appraisals in 1992. He has over 20 years of experience in all types of real estate properties. His specific areas of expertise include Tax Certiorari, Estate and Gift Tax Valuations, Litigation Support in Condemnation proceedings, Expert Testimony, Arbitration Disputes, Mortgage Financing Valuations, Feasibility and Market Studies and Property Tax Appeals.
